Laptop won't boot

I have a compaq f700 series not even a year old and one day I left it on and then it shut off and never turned on again and the AC adapter shows the blue light which means it should be charging and still won't turn on. The battery is in properly as well any suggestions on what might be the problem or what to do to make it work again? =(
