Cost-Effective Ethernet/TDM Services at the Metro Edge
With customers demanding higher speed Ethernet services at lower price points, carriers are
looking for ways to offer new services while maintaining the current revenue streams from existing

700 product family addresses all of these requirements with a cost-effective, multiservice access
platform designed specifically to enable new customer edge applications while maintaining the
viability of current services and infrastructures.
The LoopStar 750 is optimized for medium to large enterprises, multi-tenant buildings or service
aggregation. This powerful unit is NEBS 3 certified and accommodates up to four plug-in interface
cards with a full range of Ethernet and TDM interfaces to support a variety of
multiservice applications:
Ethernet services over DS1, DS3 and SONET/SDH
Multiservice Gigabit Ethernet
T1, E1 or J1 transport over packet networks
Transparent LAN service
Supports Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)
