CONFIGURING ALARMS
You can configure four different alarm options:
HDSL ES Alarm Threshold determines the number of errored seconds
that must occur to trigger an alarm
HDSL Margin Alarm Threshold determines the margin, in dB, that
triggers an alarm
Alarm on Local I/F LOS lets you enable or disable the local Loss of
Signal alarm
Alarm on Remote I/F LOS lets you enable or disable the remote Loss of
Signal alarm
To configure the alarm options:
1 From the Main Menu, type then press . The System Settings
Menu displays.
2 Type then press . The System Parameters menu displays.
