V. Sil4726 Manager Utility Installation
Note: You need to install the SiI4726 Manager on your system to
configure RAID sets.
RAID configuration is programmed by connecting the hardware
port multiplier:
to one of Addonics’ SATA controllers that has SIL3124 or
SIL3132 chip set.
After RAID configuration, it is compatible with any SATA
controller (RAID or non RAID). If you have configured individual
drives, you need to connect the RAID tower to a port multiplier
compatible eSATA host controller, if you plan to use eSATA
connection.
After RAID configuration and you plan to connect to a USB2.0 or
3.0 port on your system, connect the eSATA to USB3.0 adapter
to eSATA cable and plug it into the USB port.
