Power Supply Redundancy
After a backup power supply is installed, the primary (factory-installed) power supply continues to take on
the full power load for switch operations. Meanwhile, the backup power supply operates in active standby
mode. If the primary power supply fails unexpectedly, the backup power supply automatically takes up the
full power load without disrupting the switch.
