on overall system performance.To reduce the
load on the CPU, Allied Telesis’AT-2971SX/LC
uses interrupt moderation to group the huge
amounts of interrupts caused by small packets
transferred at Gigabit speed, enabling the
handling of several data packets per interrupt.

The AT-2971SX/LC Gigabit Ethernet interface
card comes with a variety of reliability features
that maintain the longest-possible connection
through link aggregation, redundant switch
failover and PCI hot plug.The on-board sensors
and driver functions monitor the health of
interface cards and their ports, enabling
proactive network management.
