Note: Turn power switch off.
1) Remove the printer cover by pushing down on the mark. (Figure 1)
CAUTION: The edge of the paper cutter may cut, please handle with care!
2) Hold the left side of the ink roller indicated as “pull up” and lift the ink roller up to remove it.
(Figure 2)
• To maintain clear printing, change the ink roller after about 8 rolls of printing paper have been
used.
3) Insert a new ink roller into position. (Figure 3)
4) Replace the printer cover. (Figure 4)
• Use only the Ink Roller CP-13
• Do not attempt to refill the ink roller, since this may cause mechanical difficulties.
1) Lift up the paper arm. (Figure 5).
• When inserting the paper, cut the edge of the paper as shown.
2) Place the new paper roll on the arm. The edge of the paper should be positioned as shown
(Figure 6).
• Suitable paper roll – Width: 57mm (2-1/4") / Diameter: 86mm (3-3/8") max.
3) Insert the paper into the slit located at the back of the machine as indicated (Figure 7).
4) Turn the power switch on. Press the paper feed key to advance the paper (Figure 8).

Memory backup battery retains the currency rate, tax rate, calendar and clock setting, even if the
power is off or the AC cord is disconnected.
Battery : 1 Lithium battery (Type : CR2032)
Battery life : Backup time 2000 hours
CAUTION: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries
according to the instruction. Dispose of batteries according to local regulations. Do
not dispose as household waste.
After replace the back-up battery, press the [RESET] button, after resetting be sure to set the
currency rate, tax rate, clock and calendar again.
– Used for designating the decimal point position (0 2 3) for calculated
results.
+ (Add-Mode) – Addition and subtraction functions are performed with an
automatic 2-digit decimal. It is convenient for currency calculations.
F (Floating Decimal Point) – All effective numbers up to 12 digits are printed
or displayed.
DECIMAL POINT SELECTOR SWITCH
– Used for round-up [ ] , round-off [5/4], or round-down [ ] to the
pre-selected decimal digits in the result.
ROUNDING SWITCH
Power Off – Turns power off.
Power On/Print Off – Turns power on. Entries and results will appear on the
display, but will not be printed out.
Power On/Print On – Entries and results will appear on the display and will
be printed out.
Item – Set switch to "ITEM" to count the number of times the , , and
keys have been pressed. The item count will be printed on the left hand
side of the paper roll (up to 999 times) when the , , or keys are
pressed.
Tax Rate Set – Set switch to "TAX RATE SET" for setting or recalling the tax
rate.

Add Tax Key – Used for adding the tax amount to the displayed figure.
Deduct Tax Key – Used for deducting the tax amount from the displayed

Store the Currency Rate – Press , and hold for 1 second, then
enter the currency conversion rate and press to store the rate.
Recall the Currency Rate – Press , to recall the stored
currency conversion rate.
– Press to convert currency figure displayed from to

• For rates of 1 or greater, you can input up to six digits. For rates less than 1 you can input
up to 7 digits, including 0 for the integer digit and leading zeros (though only six significant
digits, counted from the left and starting with the first non-zero digit, can be specified).
– Used for calculating the cost, selling price and profit margin amount.
Enter the value of any 2 items to obtain the balance value item. (e.g.
enter the value of the cost and the selling price to obtain the profit
margin %.)

• Note: If all the power sources, AC adapter, AA batteries and CR2032 are disconnected,
the calendar, clock, currency rate and tax rate will be cleared. In this case, please
set the calendar, clock, currency rate and tax rate again.

FORMAT
In the following cases, when "E" is displayed, a dotted line is printed, the keyboard is
electronically locked, and further operation is impossible. Press to clear the overflow. The
overflow occurs when:
1. The result or the memory content exceeds 12 digits to the left of the decimal point.
2. Dividing by "0".
3. The sequential operation speed is faster than the calculation processing speed. (Buffer
Register Overflow)
Electromagnetic interference or electrostatic discharge may cause the display to
malfunction or the memory currency rate and tax rate to be lost or altered.
Should this occur, use the tip of a ballpoint pen (or similar
sharp object) to press the [RESET] button on the back
of the calculator. After resetting be sure to set the
calendar, clock, currency rate and tax rate again.

SPECIFICATIONS
– Digunakan untuk mengatur posisi titik desimal (0 2 3) untuk hasil kalkulasi.
+ (Add-Mode) – Fungsi penjumlahan dan pengurangan dilakukan sampai

Item – Mengatur skalar ke "ITEM" untuk menghitung berapa kali tombol ,
dan telah ditekan. Jumlah item akan dicetak di sebelah kiri
gulungan kertas (sampai 999 kali) jika tombol , , atau ditekan.
Tax Rate Set – Mengatur saklar ke "TAX RATE SET" untuk mengatur atau
memanggil kembali tarif pajak.

Tombol Add Tax – Digunakan untuk menambahkan jumlah pajak pada

Menyimpan Nilai Tukar Mata Uang – Tekan , dan tahan selama
1 detik, kemudian masukkan nilai konversi mata uang dan tekan untuk
menyimpan nilai tukar mata uang.
Memanggil Kembali Nilai Tukar Mata Uang – Tekan , untuk
memanggil kembali nilai konversi mata uang yang disimpan..
– Tekan untuk mengonversi angka mata uang yang ditampilkan dari
menjadi .

• Untuk nilai sama dengan 1 atau lebih besar, Anda dapat memasukkan sampai 6 digit.
Untuk nilai kurang dari 1 Anda dapat memasukkan sampai 7 digit, termasuk 0 untuk digit
bilangan bulat dan beberapa angka nol yang mengikuti (walaupun yang dapat ditunjukkan
hanya enam digit yang signifikan, dihitung dari kiri dan dimulai dengan digit pertama yang
bukan angka nol).
– Digunakan untuk menghitung besarnya biaya, harga jual dan margin
keuntungan. Masukkan nilai dari 2 item untuk mendapatkan selisih

• Catatan: Jika semua sumber daya, AC adapter, baterai AA dan CR2032 dilepas, kalender,
jam, nilai tukar mata uang dan tarif pajak akan terhapus . Dalam hal ini, silakan
atur kembali kalender, jam, nilai tukar mata uang dan tarif pajak.

Pada kasus-kasus berikut, garis titik-titik tercetak jika "E" ditampilkan, papan ketik terkunci
secara elektronik, dan kalkulator tidak dapat dioperasikan. Tekan untuk menghapus
overflow. Overflow terjadi apabila:
1. Hasil atau isi memori melebihi 12 digit ke sebelah kiri dari titik desimal.
2. Membagi dengan “0”.
3. Kecepatan operasi berurutan adalah lebih cepat daripada kecepatan pengolahan kalkulasi.
(Buffer Register Overflow)
Gangguan elektromagnetik atau lucutan elektrostatik dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada
tampilan atau nilai tukar mata uang atau tarif pajak di dalam memori hilang
atau berubah. Apabila hal ini terjadi, gunakan ujung bolpoin (atau benda
tajam yang mirip) untuk menekan tombol [RESET] di bagian belakang
dari kalkulator. Setelah mereset, pastikan mengatur kalender, jam,
nilai tukar mata uang dan tarif pajak.

SPESIFIKASI
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
1) Do not use or leave the calculator under direct sunlight. Press subject to rapid temperature
changes, high humidity, dust and dirt should also be avoided.
2) Use a dry cloth to clean the casing of the unit. Do not use water or detergents.
3) Activate the printer when the paper roll is loaded.
4) Avoid using the calculator in places where there are iron filings, as this may affect the
electrical circuits of the calculator.
5) Do not place anything on top of the machine, particularly on top of the printer mechanism.
6) Turn the calculator off before removing the plug from the electrical outlet.
7) In case of electrical fault (i.e. smoke), disconnect the plug from the electrical socket-outlet
immediately. The socket-outlet must be located near the equipment and easily accessible.
8) When re-plug in the AC adapter, replace batteries during the "ON" mode, Press key to
restart the calculator.
9) Under the environment with electrostatic discharge, the sample may malfunction and
require user to reset the sample.
MENGGANTI PENGGULUNG TINTA

Catatan: Matikan kalkulator.
1) Lepaskan tutup printer dengan menekan tanda . (Gambar 1)
AWAS: Tepi pemotong kertas dapat melukai, mohon berhati-hati!
2) Tahan bagian sebelah kiri penggulung tinta yang ditandai dengan “pull up” dan angkat
penggulung tinta untuk mengeluarkannya. (Gambar 2)
• Untuk menjaga agar hasil cetakan jelas, ganti penggulung tinta setelah digunakan untuk
sekitar 8 gulungan kertas cetak.
3) Masukkan penggulung tinta yang baru ke tempatnya. (Gambar 3)
4) Pasang kembali tutup printer. (Gambar 4)
• Gunakan hanya Penggulung Tinta (Ink Roller) CP-13
• Jangan mencoba mengisi ulang penggulung tinta, karena dapat menyebabkan gangguan
mekanik.
1) Angkat lengan kertas. (Gambar 5).
• Ketika memasang kertas, potong tepi kertas seperti diperlihatkan.
2) Pasang gulungan kertas yang baru di lengan. Tepi kertas harus diletakkan seperti
diperlihatkan (Gambar 6).
• Gulungan kertas yang sesuai – Lebar: 57mm (2-1/4") / Diameter: 86mm (3-3/8") maks.
3) Masukkan kertas ke dalam celah yang terdapat di belakang mesin seperti ditunjukkan
(Gambar 7).
4) Hidupkan kalkulator. Tekan tombol paper feed untuk mengeluarkan kertas (Gambar 8).
Baterai cadangan memori mempertahankan pengaturan nilai tukar mata uang, tarif pajak,
kalender dan jam meskipun catu daya dimatikan atau kabel AC dilepas.
Baterai: 1 Baterai Litium (Jenis: CR2032)
Umur Baterai: Waktu cadangan 2000 jam
AWAS : Risiko meledak jika baterai diganti dengan jenis baterai yang berbeda.
Buang baterai bekas sesuai dengan instruksi.
Buang baterai sesuai dengan peraturan lokal. Jangan membuang baterai sebagai
sampah rumah tangga.
Setelah mengganti baterai cadangan, tekan tombol [RESET], setelah direset pastikan mengatur
kembali nilai tukar mata uang, tarif pajak, jam dan kalender.
PEMELIHARAAN UMUM
1) Jangan menggunakan atau meninggalkan kalkulator di bawah sinar matahari langsung.
Hindari juga menekan pada kondisi suhu yang berubah cepat, kelembapan tinggi, debu dan
kotoran juga harus dihindari.
2) Gunakan kain kering untuk membersihkan selubung kalkulator. Jangan menggunakan air
atau detergen.
3) Aktifkan printer saat memasang gulungan kertas.
4) Hindari menggunakan kalkulator di tempat-tempat yang berisi rak besi karena dapat
mempengaruhi sirkuit listrik kalkulator.
5) Jangan meletakkan apapun di bagian atas mesin, terutama di bagian atas mekanisme
printer.
6) Matikan kalkulator sebelum melepas steker dari stopkontak.
7) Apabila terjadi gagal listrik (misalnya asap), lepaskan steker dari stopkontak segera.
Stopkontak harus diletakkan di dekat peralatan dan mudah diakses.
8) Ketika memasang kembali steker AC adapter, pasang kembali baterai selama mode "ON",
Tekan tombol untuk menyalakan kembali kalkulator.
9) Di lingkungan yang mengandung muatan elektrostatik, sampel mungkin tidak bekerja
dengan baik dan pengguna harus mereset sampel.

Remove the insulation tape at the back of calculator and Press [RESET]
key before use.
LOADING
1) Remove the cover of the battery chamber at the back side of this calculator, by sliding it in the
direction of the arrow.
2) Load four new batteries (size AA) into the battery chamber as illustrated by inserting the (–)
end first. The calculator will not operate if batteries are load improperly.
3) Replace the cover by sliding it from the middle point.
REPLACEMENT
• Low battery power may cause printing problems or random paper advances. It can also
disable the key.
• If the display is dim or the printing speed decreases or the "Low Batt" icon appears, the
batteries may be discharged. Replace batteries to resume normal operations.
• Remove the batteries if you do not plan to use the unit for a long period of time.
CANON AC ADAPTER AD-11 (Asia) / AD-35 (Australia) (Optional)
• Use only the Canon AC Adapter AD-11 (Asia) / AD-35 (Australia).
• Turn the Power Switch of the calculator "OFF" before connecting or disconnecting the AC
Adapter.

MEMASANG
1) Lepaskan tutup ruang baterai di bagian belakang kalkulator dengan menggesernya sesuai
arah panah.
2) Masukkan empat baterai baru (ukuran AA) ke dalam ruang baterai seperti dalam gambar
dengan memasukkan ujung (–) terlebih dahulu. Kalkulator tidak akan bekerja jika salah
memasang baterai.
3) Pasang kembali tutup dengan menggesernya dari titik di bagian tengah.
PENGGANTIAN
• Daya baterai yang rendah dapat menyebabkan masalah pencetakan atau kertas keluar
secara acak. Di samping itu juga dapat menyebabkan tombol tidak berfungsi.
• Jika tampilan redup atau kecepatan pencetakan berkurang atau muncul ikon "Low Batt",
daya baterai mungkin sudah habis. Ganti baterai untuk memulai operasi yang normal.
• Lepaskan baterai jika Anda tidak berencana menggunakan kalkulator untuk jangka waktu
yang panjang.
CANON AC ADAPTER AD-11 (untuk Asia) / AD-35 (untuk Australia) (Opsional)
• Gunakan hanya Canon AC Adapter AD-11 (untuk Asia) / AD-35 (untuk Australia).
• Matikan kalkulator sebelum menyambung atau melepas sambungan ke AC Adapter.
