Using the Security
Slot
To use the securit

found on the back of

notebook, complete the

1. Insert a lockin

lock) into the securit

slot.
2. Turn the lockin

device clockwise 90 de

rees.
To remove the lockin

device, turn the lockin

counter-clockwise 90 de
g
rees and remove the device from the
slot.
Power-On Password
You can set a power-on password that
will secure the information

ou store
on the hard disk. When turnin

our Notebook, this password must be
entered before

ou can access

files.
