The compact disc (CD) is the
most common way to store
information to use on your
Notebook. A compact disc
holds more than 450 times
the information that can be
stored on a floppy disk.
Using the Digital Audio Zone

le-touch dedicated controls for

our MP3

list even when the displa

panel is closed.
To use the MP3 Pla

er:
1. Press the MP3 button.
2. If

ou have a pla

list selected as default, the MP3 Pla
y
er
will automaticall
y
be
g
in to pla
y
that selection. Otherwise,
hi
g
hli
g
ht a selection from the pla
y
list.
3. Press the Play
button.
Playing Audio CDs
To pla

an audio CD, insert the
disc into the CD or DVD drive.
After a few seconds the Compaq
CD Pla
y
er opens and the disc
automaticall
y
starts pla
y
in
g
.
If disc pla
y
does not start automaticall
y
, complete the
followin
g
steps:
1. Make certain the MP3 button li
g
ht is off. If the li
g
ht is on,
press the MP3 button a
g
ain to turn it off.
2. Press Play
on the MP3 controls.
To remove the disc from the drive, press the Eject
button
on the CD Pla
y
er.
