Troubleshooting
When you think the projector may be out of order, please rst check the following matters before requesting repair.

• Is the internal temperature high? If so, the lamp will not light to protect the
projector from damage.

There is no sound • Is the volume adjustment set to the minimum? E-32
There is a snap sound
from the cabinet
• This sound is associated with the minute expansion or shrinkage of the cabinet due
to a change of the temperature. It has no effect on performance or anything else.

The remote control will
not work
• Is the battery exhausted? Or is it weak?
• Is the remote control IR sensor exposed to illumination or other light?
• Is the remote control IR sensor blocked?
• Is an inverter device located close by?

At the time of personal
computer input selection,
the position of the video
is shifted, or the display is
compressed
• Please adjust using the "Sync adjustment" menu. E-42
“SD card is not formatted.” Is
displayed.
• Have you formatted the card? Format the card with the unit.
• Pull out the SD memory card once and after 2 or 3 seconds, try to insert the
card again. If the trouble cannot be solved, check the SD memory card.

The SD memory card cannot
be accessed normally.
• Is the SD memory card broken?
Check to make sure whether or not it can be used in the other units.
(Any SD memory card is not guaranteed to operate.)

Playback cannot be done
from the SD memory card.
• Has the image been saved with the others than the IP Viewer or dedicated
tool?
• Use the IP Viewer or dedicated tool.
