You can use various interface cards to supplement the capabilities of your
printer’s built-in hardware interface. The following EPSON interface cards
are compatible with your printer:

If you are not sure whether you need an optional interface or if you want
to know more about interfaces, contact your dealer.
If you are planning to install the LocalTalk interface card in your printer,
you will need two LocalTalk Locking Connector Kits (DIN-8 version).
Attach one connector box to the AppleTalk interface on the printer and
the other box to the printer port on the Macintosh. Then attach the
LocalTalk cable between the two connector boxes. See the owner’s guide
that comes with the connector kits for more details.
