TPR150 Twisted Pair Receiver
1. If desired, projector mount the receiver. Refer to the TPS150 transmission system manual.
2. Make all connections to the TPT150 switching transmitter. Refer to the TPS150 transmission system manual
and the TPT150 transmitter label.
3. Connect a CAT 5 shielded twisted pair (STP) or foil shielded twisted pair (FTP) cable, terminated with RJ-45
connectors, between the transmitter and the receiver. Ensure that
both ends of the cable are terminated using
the same protocol, either TIA/EIA 568 A or 568 B. Refer to the TPS150 transmission system manual.
NOTE
Extron recommends the use of STP or FTP cable only.
4. Connect the RGB video, component (Y, R-Y, B-Y) video, S-video, and
composite video outputs to a projector or other video device.
5. Connect a serial cable between the RS-232 port and the projector's serial port.
6. Connect power.
Smear correction – Press the Cable Equalization Select button as necessary to light the
Low Frequency LED. Press the + or – button to adjust for the best image display.
Sharpness correction – Press the Cable Equalization Select button as necessary to light the
High Frequency LED. Press the + or – button to adjust for the best image display.
Convergence correction – Use a small, flat-head screwdriver to gently adjust the rear panel
Red, Green, and Blue Skew Adjust controls. NOTE
Make small adjustments.
CAUTION
Do not connect this device to a computer data or telecommunications network.
