9.6.2.3 ip pimsm register-threshold
This command is used to configure the Threshold rate for the RP router to switch to the shortest path. The
rate is specified in Kilobits per second. The possible values are 0 to 2000.
Syntax
ip pimsm register-threshold <0 - 2000>
no ip pimsm register-threshold
<0 - 2000> - This is kilobits per seconds.
no - This command is used to reset the Threshold rate for the RP router to switch to the shortest path
to the default value.

9.6.2.4 ip pimsm spt-threshold
This command is used to configure the Data Threshold rate for the last-hop router to switch to the shortest
path. The rate is specified in Kilobits per second. The possible values are 1 to 2000.
Syntax
ip pimsm spt-threshold <1 - 2000>
no ip pimsm spt-threshold
<1 - 2000> - This is kilobits per seconds.
no - This command is used to reset the Data Threshold rate for the last-hop router to switch to the
shortest path to the default value.
