HP StorageWorks 1/8 Tape Autoloader
Designed for basic data protection, the HP
StorageWorks 1/8 Tape Autoloader provides
cost-effective, easy-to-install unattended backup.
No more struggling to remember to change tapes
or start backup programs. With the 1/8 Tape
Autoloader, reliable backup equals peace of mind.
Equally at home in a data-center rack or on a desk
next to the office server, the 1/8 Tape Autoloader is
equipped with either an HP StorageWorks Ultrium 460,
SDLT 320, Ultrium 230 or a DLT VS80 tape drive and
can house up to eight cartridges. The autoloader can
be used for both direct-attach backup to a single server
locally or across a LAN. The Ultrium and SDLT versions
are an ideal consolidated backup solution for multiple
servers where high throughput and high capacity are
required. For users who have less stringent capacity
and throughput requirements, the DLT VS80 version
is recommended.
Included with the autoloader is a power cord, SCSI
cable, LVD SCSI terminator, installation guide,
and product manual. Plus, all models come with
