Configuring

The
following
configuration
programs
are
provided
with
your
server:

Configuration/Setup
Utility
program
The
Configuration/Setup
Utility
program
is
part
of
the
basic
input/output
system
(BIOS)
code
in
your
server.
Use
it
to
configure
serial
port
assignments,
change
interrupt
request
(IRQ)
settings,
change
the
startup-device
sequence,
set
the
date
and
time,
and
set
passwords.

ServerGuide
Setup
and
Installation
CD
The
ServerGuide
program
provides
software-setup
tools
and
installation
tools
that
are
designed
for
your
server.
Use
this
CD
during
the
installation
of
your
server
to
configure
basic
hardware
features,
such
as
an
integrated
SCSI
controller
with
RAID
capabilities,
and
to
simplify
the
installation
of
your
operating
system.

Boot
Menu
program
The
Boot
Menu
program
is
part
of
the
BIOS
code
in
your
server.
Use
it
to
temporarily
assign
a
device
to
be
first
in
the
startup
sequence,
overriding
the
startup
sequence
that
is
set
in
the
Configuration/Setup
Utility
program.

Gigabit
Ethernet
Utility
program
The
Intel
Gigabit
Ethernet
Utility
program
is
part
of
the
BIOS
code
in
your
server.
You
can
use
it
to
configure
the
network
as
a
startable
device,
and
you
can
customize
where
the
network
startup
option
appears
in
your
startup
sequence.
Enable
the
Intel
Gigabit
Ethernet
Utility
from
the
Configuration/Setup
Utility
program.
