A.7.2 ACS Routines
The following amendments were applied to the ACS routines using the ISMF edit
facility (option 7.1):
1. Data Class was not used.
2. A Storage Class, SCDBFAST, was defined for partitions. A
null Storage Class
was given to all other data set allocations.
3. A Management Class, MCDB20 was defined for partitions.
4. Code was added to the ACS source to allow the selection of the newly defined
Storage Groups, based upon the naming convention of the table spaces;
&DSN(4) is the variable used to identify the contents of the fourth level
qualifier of the data set being allocated. Figure 115 on page 183 shows the
ACS routine code extract for the Storage Group allocation:
