restoreyourcomputer.Youcanuseittorestorethesystempartitiontoits
originalstatusincaseofasystemfailure.Youcanalsocreateuserbackups
foreasyrestorationasrequired.
Backing up the system partition
Youcanbackupthesystempartitiontoanimagefile.Tobackupthesystem
partition:

Restoring
Youcanchoosetorestorethesystempartitiontoitsoriginalstatusortoa
previouslycreatedback‐uppoint.Torestorethesystempartition:

• IfyourcomputerispreinstalledwithanoperatingsystemotherthanWindows,OneKey
Recoverysystemisnotavailable.
• ToutilizethefeaturesoftheOneKeyRecoverysystem,yourharddiskalreadyincludesa
hiddenpartitionbydefaulttostorethesystemimagefileandtheOneKeyRecovery
systemprogramfiles.Thisdefaultpartitionishiddenforsecurityreasons,whichexplains
whytheavailablediskspaceislessthan
thestatedcapacity.

• Youcanchooseaback‐uplocationonthelocalharddiskdriveoranexternalstoragedevice.
• Removetheremovableharddiskdrivebeforestar tingtheLenovoOneKeyRecov ery
