4. Install a fully charged battery until it clicks into place.
5. Slide the battery latch to the locked position.
6. Turn the computer over again. Reconnect the ac power adapter and all cables.
Using the extended life battery
For longer battery life, an extended life battery is available as an option. You can attach it to the docking
station connector of your computer by doing the following:
1. Turn off the computer, or enter hibernation mode. Then disconnect the ac power adapter and all cables
from the computer.
2. Close the computer display, and turn the computer over.
3. Align the extended life battery with the bottom side of the computer as shown and rmly attach the
battery.
