Switching GPU (Select models only) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
If your computer comes with a GPU switch on the right side, your
computer supports switchable graphics technology. Switchable graphics
technology enables you to switch the GPU (graphics processing unit) used
by the computer system between a high-performance discrete GPU and a
power-saving integrated one.
GPU switching should be performed under Windows operating system.
For optimum quality video output, use the discrete GPU. To switch to the
discrete GPU:
•Slide the GPU switch to DIS. ( )
• A dialog box may appear on the screen to inform you of this change in
GPU. Click OK to confirm this change.
