WinDVD
Frame dropping may occur (images or sounds are disrupted)
z Immediately after resuming from a pause, frame dropping may occur depending on the operating environment or DVD
video (images or sounds are disrupted).
z If the DVD video software other than WinDVD has been installed, the images and motion videos may not be displayed
properly.
If you cannot play the disc contents smoothly:
z In the case of some operating environments or DVD videos, playback may not be smooth, or audio may become distorted
when using fast-forward (“time stretch”).
z In the Extended Desktop or simultaneous (internal/external) display mode, there are times when images or motion video
are not displayed correctly.
The playback screen appears to be blurred, white, and jumpy
z Change the color preset settings.
A Click on the Player Panel to display the Video Center.
B Click [Color].
C Click [Custom], and on the same screen adjust the color by moving the sliders.
When battery operation time has become short:
z Click on the Player Panel and click [Display]. Set [Deinterlace] to [Auto] in the Video Center.
Changing power settings
z While a video is playing on WinDVD, the [Power schemes] in [Power Options Properties] switch to [Intervideo WinDVD].
This will return to the original setting when the playback is stopped.
If you have uninstalled WinDVD accidentally:
z Reinstall it by following the steps below.
A Log on to Windows as an administrator.
B Input [c:\util\windvd\setup.exe]

in [start] - [Run] and click [OK].
Follow the on-screen instructions and install WinDVD.
z When the [License Agreement] screen

appears, click [Yes] if you agree to the terms.
