with the cordless handset

7.4.1 Recording your greeting message

L Hold the cordless handset about 20 cm away and
speak clearly into the microphone.

To check the greeting message

To erase your greeting message

2. “Erase Message” i {>}

7.4.2 Listening to recorded messages
When the unit has new voice messages:
– the message indicator (1) on the cordless handset
will flash if the message alert feature (page 52) is
turned ON

2 “Play New Msg.” or “Play All Msg.” i {>}
To repeat a message
Press {<} while listening to the message.
L If you press {<} within 5 seconds of the beginning of
the message, the previous message will be played.
To skip a message
Press {>} to play the next message.
To stop playback
Press {9}.
If you subscribe to Caller ID service
During playback, you can call back the displayed name
or number using the cordless handset.

To erase a specific message
Press {*}{4} while listening to the message you want to
erase.
To erase all messages

7.4.4 Direct command operation
You can operate the answering machine by pressing dial
keys, rather than navigating through the menus. To use
the following commands, press {j/OK}. i “Answer
