machine can perform multiple jobs at the same time. For instance,
while transmitting a fax from memory, it could also be printing out
a document from a PC while you reserve the next transmission. Or

Quick Memory Transmission
Unlike conventional faxes, the UF-885 dials as soon as the first page has
been scanned. You can continue to scan in additional pages while
transmission is taking place. With simultaneous scanning and sending, you’ll

Capability
If you have high fax volume, another way to reduce
transmission time and costs is to use Realtime or
Delayed Batch Transmission to send multiple jobs to the
same destination.
1) Realtime Batch
Transmission
During memory transmission,
the UF-885 searches its memory
for reserved files (up to 5 files)
to transmit to the same
destination, automatically
batching and transmitting them
in a single phone call.
2) Delayed Batch
Transmission
You can assign a time for batch transmissions to a
Programme Key in advance. All transmissions using
the Programme Key are batched and transmitted at
the scheduled time. This makes it easy to take
advantage of the lowest possible phone rates.
Cut transmission times in half or
take advantage of simultaneous dual
line transmission/reception. Either
way you’ve got the speed you need.
