VOICE RECORD/PLAYBACK MODULE
Your RadioShack Voice Record/Play-
back Module provides high-quality,
record/playback for short (up to 20-
second) messages. It uses the latest
IC recording technology, and adds a
microphone, speaker, two button
switches, LED indicator, and a battery
case for a complete, single-message
record/playback system ready for in-
stallation in your own cabinet.
You can record a new message as
many times as you like without having
to wait for a tape to rewind. Record
your voice and add a picture to make
a special keepsake for a loved one, or
record a message to remind yourself
of things to do.
INSTALLING BATTERIES
Your Voice Record/Playback Module
uses four AA batteries (not supplied)
for power. For the best performance
and longest life, we recommend alka-
line batteries, such as RadioShack
Cat. No. 23-552.
Caution:
Always use fresh batteries
of the required size and type.
Insert the batteries as indicated by the
polarity symbols (+ and –) marked in-
side the battery case.
RECORDING
1. Hold the microphone about 2
inches (5 cm) from your mouth.
2. Press and hold the white
RECORD button. The LED lights
while you record the message.
3. Speak clearly into the microphone
(for up to 20 seconds).
Note:
The recording level
depends on the loudness of your
voice. Speak as loudly as you
want into the microphone.
4. Release the RECORD button to
stop recording. The LED turns off.
Note:
A new recording replaces the
previous one.
