LISTEN TO A WEATHER FREQUENCY
Press
WX
. The scanner scans the weather band then stops within a
few seconds on the strongest weather channel. See “Listening to a
Weather Channel” on Page 40 of your Owner’s Manual.
SELECT A FREQUENCY
1. Press
TUNE
. The scanner tunes up or down.
2. Use the number keys to enter the frequency, then press
ENTER
.
You hear the frequency. See “Manually Tuning a Frequency” on
Page 39 of your Owner’s Manual.
SAVE A FREQUENCY YOU SELECTED
1. Press
MANUAL
, then enter the bank and channel number where
you want to store the frequency (see “Channel Storage Banks”
on Page 19 of your Owner’s Manual).
2. Press
MANUAL

PGM
.
3. Use the number keys and
./DELAY
to enter the frequency, then
press
ENTER

scanner from

recharge
rechargeable

connecting
cable to
connect two
scanners
and copy
