The NOOK main screen displays with your library. You are
now ready to use NOOK.
Shop Books
1. From the NOOK main page, tap
shop books
at the top of the
display.
2. Scroll thru the list to select an eBook by category, or enter
a title, subject, or author in the search bar and tap
Go
.
3. The eBook or a list of eBooks is displayed. Tap on
BUY NOW
to buy or tap
Get Free Sample
to get a small portion of the
eBook that you can sample.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions.
Reading
To read an ebook that you have purchased or a sample, follow
these steps:
1. From the NOOK main page, tap on an ebook.
2. Sweep the screen to the left to move to the next page.
3. Sweep the screen to the right to go back a page.
4. Tap in the upper-right corner to make a bookmark.
5. Press ➔
Go To
then tap on the
Bookmarks
tab to go to
a previously set bookmark.
6. Press ➔
Library
to return to your library.
NOOK Options
Options from the main page
1. From the NOOK main page, press .
2. The following options are available:
•Sort
: allows you to sort your Library contents by Recent, Title, or
Author.
•Filter
: allows you to display your Library, My Documents, or
Archive.
•Sync
: allows you to synchronize your library and the Barnes &
Noble catalog with your device.
•Shop
: allows you to shop for eBooks, magazines, and newspapers
from the Barnes & Noble eBookstore.
• My Account
: allows you to see the email address that you are
logged in as. Tap Log Out to log out of your account.
