Sim2 Multimedia D35 Projector User Manual

SIM2 is synonymous with the finest quality home theater projectors and the new D35
model adds to that enviable reputation. Replacing the highly successful DOMINO 30H
model, D35 offers improved images and higher light output, through the use of upgraded
electronics and a more powerful 150W lamp.
D35 projector features Texas Instruments’ HD2+ DarkChip2™ chipset that delivers a native
resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (720p) for true high definition capability - perfect for today’s
HD sources. The contrast ratio offered by the combination of DC2 chip and SIM2 optics
is >3200:1, whilst the high quality electronics offer exceptional grayscale tracking – and
superb picture quality.
Superior glass optics are utilized throughout the patented Alpha Path™ light engine, which
ensure that the image focus is pin-sharp across the entire screen surface and that color
rendition is accurate – this is important in creating a film-like image. The long-throw lens
(1.8-2.4:1) allows the projector to be positioned at the back of the room behind the viewer,
to recreate the experience of a real cinema.
On-board video processing prevents the introduction of the motion artifacts and jagged
edges found in inferior projectors. D35 features a wide selection of inputs - including
HDMI™ and is compatible with all video and graphic standards (inc.HDTV). HDMI™ is a
purely digital connection that transmits the uncompressed bitstream directly from the
source through to the display, for a more accurate image.
The D35 projector is available in either Matte Black or Matte White cabinet finishes.
