Application
With the Sinarback eMotion/CMV Inter-
face 552.36.095 (fig. 1) any Sinarback
eMotion can be operated on a Sinar p3
or Sinar f3 SL with sliding adapter and
Sinaron Digital CMV lenses.
Mounting
The Sinarback eMotion/CMV Interface is
mounted on the rear side of a Sinar
Sliding Adapter 100 (see fig. 2) of any
Sinar p3 or Sinar f3 SL view camera by
means of a Velcro strip that is part of the
delivery.
Connections
The two cables
Trigger and
Winder are plugged in the Sinarback
eMotion.
To power the Sinaron Digital CMV
lenses a Sinar 12 volt power supply
(e.g. 523.11.053) is required and is
plugged in the interface's DC IN 12 V
socket
. Furthermore, the cable of
the sliding adapter must be plugged in
the interface's socket
.
To enable the CMV lenses to open
and close in dependence of the position
of the sliding adapter (viewer or cap-
ture) an additional Sinarback Auto
Cable Release 551.43.059 is required.
Usually, this cable is included with
every "Sinar Sliding Adapter 100 HB-V"
(except with the "Basic" versions). How-
ever, it is also available separately. This
cable is screwed in the appropriate
thread on the lower side of the sliding
adapter; its "telephone" plug is plugged
in the interface's CTRL socket
.
The flash synch cable is connected to
the X-contact of the CMV lens.
Operation
To operate the Sinarback eMotion/
CMV Interface, the Sinarback eMotion
must be updated to firmware ver-
sion 4.42 or higher, and Sinar
CaptureShop™ 5.4.2 or higher
must be used.
When the Sliding Adapter is moved to
the Viewer position, the shutter of the
Sinaron Digital CMV lens automatically
opens to the preset working aperture.
When the Sliding Adapter is moved
to the Capture position, the shutter
of the CMV lens is being closed.
Exposure times from 1/60 to 30
seconds are to be set in the Settings
Menu on the Sinarback eMotion.
An Image is captured either remote
controlled from the Sinar Capture-
Shop™ or at the camera by means of
the Auto Cable Release 551.43.059
.
