Precautions
The aluminum part in the vicinity of the air exhaust vent (1) on the top surface of the main unit becomes hot while your
computer is on. Be sure to wait until the main unit cools down before you touch the top surface.
When one of the wireless functions of your computer is activated, the computer emits radio frequency signals which may
cause interference with medical devices. If you have a cardiac pacemaker implanted, be sure to check that the
WIRELESS indicator light on the right of the computer is unlit before using the computer.
Your computer uses high-frequency radio signals and may cause interference to radio or TV reception. If this occurs,
relocate the computer a suitable distance away from the set.
Use only specified peripheral equipment and interface cables. Otherwise, problems may occur.
Do not use cut or damaged connection cables.
If your computer is brought directly from a cold location to a warm one, moisture may condense inside the computer. In
this case, allow at least one hour before turning on the computer. If any problems occur, unplug the computer and contact
an authorized Sony Service Center. To find the nearest center or agent, see Sony Support Information (page 204).
