3 Tests and Diagnostics
3.1 The Diagnostic Test
This chapter explains how to use the Diagnostic Test program to test the functions of the computer’s
hardware modules. They are grouped into the Service Program Modules and the Test Program
Modules. The Diagnostic Test consists of 10 programs. Wireless LAN test, Sound/LAN/modem
test, Bluetooth test and IEEE1394 test are also supported.
Note: To start the diagnostics, follow these steps:
1. Check all cables for loose connections.
2. Exit any application and close Windows.
The DIAGNOSTIC MENU consists of the following 7 test programs.
