(e) Auto Power On
This option displays setting for Wake-up on LAN. When Windows XP is
operating, this function is disabled.
Enabled Indicates auto power on and Wake-up on LAN is set.
Disabled Indicates auto power on and Wake-up on LAN is not set.
When Enabled is set, the following subwindow appears.
Auto power on and Wake-up on LAN is set in the options subwindow. To set
alarm time, use Space and BackSpace. To switch between time and minute,
month and date, use and .
Alarm Time sets a time and date for automatic power on. Second cannot be set.
When this option is set to Disabled, the time for automatic power on is not set.
Alarm Date Option sets a month and date in order for automatic power on. When
Alarm Time is set to Disabled, month and date for automatic power on is not set.
Ring Indicator turns on the power automatically when receiving a call from the line.
This item is displayed only in resume mode. A PC card type modem is required for
this option. When your computer has no modem, this option is not displayed.
Wake-up on LAN automatically turn on the computer when accessed by the
administrator of LAN. When Built-in LAN is Enabled, this option can be set to
Enabled. AC adapter is required for this option.
Note: 1 .Do not remove the AC adapter and battery pack at the same time when you
use this feature. If you do so, data saved by the resume function will be lost.
You must also reset this option.
2. This option is enabled only once, the setting is reset after booting up
