The Grand Tour
Power Button Press the power button to turn the computer's
power on and off. There is an LED inside the
power button which shines blue when the system
is on.
CD/DVD Button
Pressing this button in the power-off condition will
run Express Media Player. Once Express Media
Player is launched, Power indicator turns on and
the audio button is enable. Meanwhile, when
Express Media Player is running, pressing this
button will do nothing. Pressing this button in the
power-on or standby conditions will launch
Windows Media
®
Player/WinDVD.
(This function is available depending on the
model you purchased.)
When you use Express Media Player (this function is available depending
on the model you purchased), please assign the CD/DVD button to “CD/
DVD” in TOSHIBA Controls Properties.
Play/Pause Press this button to begin playing an audio CD,
a DVD movie or digital audio files. This button
also acts as a Pause button.
Stop Stops playing the CD, DVD or digital audio.
Next Skips forward to next tracks. Refer to Chapter 4,
Operating Basics, for details.
Previous Skips back to previous tracks. Refer to
Chapter 4, Operating Basics, for details.
If Random or Shuffle is selected in Windows
®
Media Player, selecting Next
or Previous advances to a random selection.
Left and Right
Speakers
The audio speakers.
TouchPad A pointing device located in the center of the
palm rest is used to control the on-screen pointer.

Chapter 4, Operating Basics.

Control buttons below the TouchPad let you
select menu items or manipulate text and
graphics designated by the on-screen pointer.
