4.15 System Board
NOTE: There are two different SKUs of this model of computer – the Satellite M70 and the
Satellite Pro M70. Because =there exists some difference in how the system board is
uninstalled. Differences are highlighted in the procedure.
Removing the System Board
To remove the system board, first remove the top cover, then follow the steps below:
1. Remove four M2x4 screws from the Express Bracket and remove two M2.5x3 screws from the
Express PC Board.
NOTE: The Satellite Pro M70 doesn’t have an Express PC Board, so skip this step.
2. Remove four M2.5x3 screws from the system board.
