Installing the CPU
To install the CPU, follow the steps below and refer to the figures in the preceding section.
CAUTION: If you remove the heat sink, you should use the CPU grease tool to remove
the grease on the CPU and heat sink. Reapply fresh grease before installing the heat sink.
1. Secure the heat sink cover with two rivets.
2. Secure the fan with two M2.5x6 fan screws on the top of the system board and one M2.5x3
fan screw on the bottom of the system board.
3. Connect the fan wire from the system board.
4. Reinstall the CPU, ensuring that you restore the thermal grease on its surface and then turn the
cam back to the locked position.
