AC Power Cord and Connectors
The power cord’s AC input plug must be compatible with the various
international AC power outlets and the cord must meet the standards for
the country in which it is used. All cords must meet the following
specifications:
Length: Minimum 2 metres
Wire size: Minimum 0.75 mm²
Current rating: Minimum 2.5 Amperes
Voltage rating: 125 or 250 VAC
(depending on country's power standards)
Certification agencies
U.S. and Canada: UL listed and CSA certified
No. 18 AWG, Type SVT or SPT2 two conductor
Australia: AS
Europe:
Austria: OVE
Belgium: CEBEC
Denmark: DEMKO
