The computer’s back side
CPU cooling fan vent This cooling fan in takes air to cool CPU.
Be careful not to block the fan vent. Also be careful to keep foreign
objects out of the vent. A pin or similar object can damage the computer’s
circuitry.
DC IN 15V
DC IN 15V The AC adaptor is connected to this socket. Use
only the model of AC adaptor that comes with
the computer. Using the wrong adaptor can
damage your computer.
External monitor port This 15pin port lets you connect an external
monitor.
Universal Serial Bus
(USB 2.0) port
Two Universal Serial Bus ports are on the back
side.
The ports comply with the USB 2.0 standard,
which enables data transfer speeds 40 times
faster than the USB 1.1 standard. (The ports also
support USB 1.1.)
Keep foreign objects out of the USB connectors. A pin or similar object
can damage the computer's circuitry.
Ether
LAN jack This jack lets you connect to a LAN. The adaptor
has builtin support for Ethernet LAN (10
megabits per second, 10BASET) and Fast
Ethernet LAN (100 megabits per second,
100BASETx).
LAN active indicator This indicator glows in orange when data is
being exchan

ed between the computer and the
LAN.
