Safety
Quick Installation
Basic Operation: p. 4 - 5
Safety: p. 2
Plug surge suppressor into a three-
wire, grounded 120V electrical outlet.
The surge suppressor cannot provide full protection unless it is
plugged into a properly wired and grounded outlet.
Flip surge suppressor’s ON – OFF
switch ON (switch will light up.)
When this switch is lit, it indicates that AC power is enabled at the
surge suppressor's outlets.
Plug the power cords of your
electrical equipment into your surge
suppressor's outlets.
Your electrical equipment is now protected from AC surges on the
power line. Note for models with more than 2 outlets: the outlets
are arranged into pairs called isolated filter banks. For best
results, plug heavy power draw devices such as printers into the
banks closest to the surge suppressor's power cord and sensitive
equipment such as computers into the banks furthest from the
surge suppressor's power cord. This gives sensitive equipment the
greatest protection from AC surges and isolates it from line noise
from heavy power draw devices.
