INTRODUCTION
Your Tripp Lite SU2200RT2U-L530 or SU2200RT2U-L520 UPS is identical in features and functions
to the SU2200RT2U described in the Owner's Manual this Addendum accompanies, with the exception
of the following changes:
L5 RECEPTACLE AND PLUG
1) The four NEMA 5-15R receptacles that compose Load Bank 2 on the SU2200RT2U have been
replaced with a single L5-30R receptacle (SU2200RT2U-L530) or L5-20R receptacle
(SU2200RT2U-L520) as shown below. Equipment or a Power Access Module (PAM) with an
L5 plug of the correct amperage may be connected directly into this receptacle. Connected
equipment will receive pure sine-wave AC output from the AC line during normal operation and
from battery power during blackouts and severe brownouts. Power at this receptacle is filtered to
protect connected equipment against damaging surges and line noise. This receptacle may be turned
on and off from a remote location using Tripp Lite PowerAlert software. See PowerAlert Manual
for more details.
2) The L5 outlet is controlled by a single resettable output breaker that protects the UPS from output
overload. If this breaker trips, remove some of the load on the outlet and allow the UPS to cool
before pressing the breaker switch to reset it.
3) The input cord features a L5-30 plug (SU2200RT2U-L530) or L5-20 plug (SU2200RT2U-L520).
Policy of Tripp Lite is one of continuous improvement. Specifications are subject to change without notice.
