GS-2750
Benefits
Empowering Gigabit Converged Networks
For mid-sized organizations and enterprise branch offices, the ZyXEL GS-2750 eases converged
application deployments and adapts to changing business needs with configuration flexibility,
supports to converged network patterns and automation of intelligent network service
configurations. In addition, the ZyXEL GS-2750 is optimized for high-density Gigabit Ethernet
deployments and includes a diverse range of switches that meet access, aggregation and small
network backbone connectivity requirements.
Secure Multi-Service Delivery
Cooperation of eight priority queues and the WFQ scheduling algorithm secure quality of time-
sensitive applications, as different services can be assigned to a specific VLAN and configured with
different priority for traffic management. The multi-layer ACL provides L2/L3/L4 indicators for
conducting policy management on traffic, while IGMP snooping and MVR are supported to optimize
IP multicasting applications.
Enhanced Multi-layer Security Protection
The GS-2750 provides strict security against intruders with mechanisms such as Intrusion Lock, MAC
Freeze, Static MAC Forwarding and MAC Filtering for MAC-based protection. The 802.1Q VLAN isolates
traffics into different virtual LANs to protect business-critical information, while Multi-layer ACL
provides L2/L3/L4 indicators for security policy management. In terms of access authentication,
802.1x and TACACS+ are supported for centralized authentication management; 802.1x can even
further facilitate the assignment of VLAN and bandwidth.
