This is an old printer but I like it. What the problem is, though, is that my black cartridge has run out but the red light isn't showing that allows me to change it. When I press the button for three seconds, all the printer does is keep cleaning the heads which doesn't help because there is no black ink left. Lift the printer lid, then push the paper feed button and the power button at the same time. I found that solution eventually, in a manual online.
