I've hooked up the product (Acer 2.5" Slim EXterna...

I've hooked up the product (Acer 2.5" Slim EXternal Hard Disk Drive) as per the very brief instructions and nothing happens. Is there somewhere on the net I can go to get instructions on how to use this thing?

5 are you using windows? If you are it should appear in your MY COMPUTER if your running mac you might need to reformat so it will be noticed by your os go to this web page and follow it along. http://www.kenstone.net/fcp_homepage/formatting_hd_mac_stone.html if you dont see it in windows right click on the my computer icon then manage then disk utility if you dont see it there you have a bad harddrive
