Question About Acer Laptop ICW50
frozen screen with diagonal lines...

while playing games my monitor freezes and gets diagonal (green or blue) lines across it

0 You may need to update your video drivers-you can do this by determining your video card (listed in the manual/on the Acer website for you model), and searching google for it, or going to the website of the manufacturer (nVidia, ATI, etc). Another issue may be overheating, make sure the bottom and back of the laptop are well ventilated while you play games, if it overheats it will start to have strange issues. Lastly, if none of these fix it you may need to call Acer and find out if there's an issue with you motherboard (they should be able to troubleshoot the machine with you)
