0 Appears to be fixed for now. Will re-try over time. The problem was only time and date and it was keeping I.E. from connection to many social web sites. I left the laptop pluged in but not running for a few days then removed the battery pack, wiped the contacts and re-installed it. Turned the laptop on and all worked well time/date and internet connections to all sites. But now time will be the real test. PS: have and idea that some power storing capactors were re-formed by leaving power on the unit over time. But then I did not engineer the laptop, of course.
