How many fans should be operating in the Acer Z375...

How many fans should be operating in the Acer Z3750- 2? 3? Mine is constantly freezing/cutting out and sometimes beeping to indicate a problem with the VGA. 4 years old and never been cleaned out re. dust, etc.
