hi, my OS on " C" HDD is full but my Data on "D...

hi, my OS on " C" HDD is full but my Data on "D" HDD is empty......how do I utilise the "D" HDD partition to either transfer some OS system files over to it ? or reduce some file load from "C" and free up disk space....??? Thanks in advance guys.
