How/can I adapt an older Media Theater built for G...

How/can I adapt an older Media Theater built for Gateway to updated Computer/TV ? I cannot find an appropriate connection for INPUT cable on newer hardware. Jack not appropriate for other , newer hardware. Hate to dump this system. Thanks in advance, Kenneth Stephens kenjodystep@gmail.com
