My printer says unable to init. 40 it's a dcp-770c...

My printer says unable to init. 40 it's a dcp-770cw. I have turned it off and left it off and it keeps coming up with the same message. Can you please advise what I should do please. Many thanks hayley Madhadz@hotmail.com
