Question About Buffalo Technology Network Card None

My router is running at 4MBytes on a 10 Mybte connention for wired ad 3.5MB for wireless. The setup is default and I only use wireless LAN restriction by MAC address. The rest is default. Any tips? Is there new firmware available?
