I have a PIXMA MX860. I keep getting error code C0...

I have a PIXMA MX860. I keep getting error code C000. The paper is not feeding right and I remove it. I looked up the code and says get service. We don't have any one to do that where I live. What can I do myself?

0 I do have this manual. It is very basic start up. I need deeper info to clean the areas where the paper feeds and travels.
