Question About Canon All in One Printer F50
not working properly...

My machine has been sitting unused for 5 years, I put new ink in it, have it plugged in properly. When it copies it skips part of the image leaving blank horizontal areas. I'm unable to receive test fax. Is this machine fried, and need to get new one or can I find a manual to troubleshoot?
