I ahve a Canon IP1800 printerand have used only black ink for about 5 years. About a week ago a logo sign on the screen appears every time I print. It says "Ink absorber almost full. Contact Service Provider". The print is still perfect but the logo comes up every time...Worrying. Phoned Cacnon who said I can take it to my ink shop. They cannot help. Said I must leave until the absober is full...This does not seem right to me. Is there not a way to empty the absorber?
